At M-Kids, we are well on our way to becoming Mauritius’ most comprehensive and innovative organisation. We are committed to providing professional services, activities and programmes, and we keep our promise to transform lives every single day. The years 2019 to 2022 were filled with innovation and growth, thanks to the generous support of our sponsors and partners, not to forget, our volunteers.
It is a real pleasure to present to you the results of yet another successful year based on M-Kids’ Strategic Plan 2022, which are displayed on the following pages. You will observe the impact that our programmes, activities, and support have had on the lives of our beneficiaries, including children, widows, elderly citizens and families, all over Mauritius and Rodrigues. In some cases, we also responded to international appeals. We are proud of these accomplishments and are inspired to boldly tackle on the new Strategic Plan for 2023-2025.
Following these noteworthy accomplishments, there is no time to rest our laurels. M-Kids continues to be motivated to fulfil its mission of “No Child Left Behind”. We intend to augment the capacity of our learning centre and set down roots in different regions to reach more beneficiaries and bring a positive change in their lives.
My deepest appreciation and sincere gratitude go the entire personnel of M-Kids, especially the staff members and volunteers who are the pillars of the organisation, and the members of our Managing Committee who give their free time to support us in the work that we do. I would also like to thank our dynamic and visionary Director, Imaam Arshad Joomun. He really does drive change in the community.
Most importantly, I would especially like to thank all of our generous donors, sponsors and partners for your steadfast support. I am deeply humbled by your kindness and your generosity, and I am confident that by working together, we will achieve the goals that our organisations and institutions have set out to do.
